Prayer Path — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026

In short: Prayer Path does not collect, store or share any personal data. The app has no server, needs no account, and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking.

Location

Your location is used only on your phone to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your coordinates are never sent to any server. If you prefer not to grant location access, you can choose a city from the list.

Stored on your device

Your settings, prayer and missed-prayer records, tasbih count, last read Quran page and notification preferences are stored only on your phone. Deleting the app removes all of it; you can also delete your settings and records in the app under Settings → Privacy Center → Delete all local data.

Widgets and Apple Watch

The Home Screen widget and the watch face complication read the times they show from a shared app area on your own device. The Apple Watch app receives its prayer schedule directly from your phone over Apple's device-to-device connection. This data does not leave your devices.

Notifications

Prayer notifications are scheduled on your phone; no push notification server is used.

External links

The "Ask Diyanet" button opens the website of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) in your browser. Anything you share there is subject to Diyanet's own privacy terms.

Children

The app collects no data from users of any age.
